Inauguration of the Neurosurgery Research and Training Center of the Hospital Universitario la Samaritana

With the presence of the Colombian Minister of Health, Alejandro Gaviria, and influential scientific personalities of the country, the inauguration of the Neurosurgery Research and Training Center (CIEN) was carried out, based at the Hospital Universitario la Samaritana. Minister Gaviria expressed his admiration for the quality of the research projects conducted at CIEN. CIEN is the first stage of an ambitious plan that contemplates the creation of a simulated operating room, equipped with real anatomical specimens that allow the development of knowledge in the different subspecialties of neurosurgery.
